Printing reviewIn today’s business environment, a lot of customers’ are trying to do their own artwork. One problem we see a lot is artwork files coming with nested graphic files within other graphic files. If you create point vector artwork in a program like Adobe Illustrator and save it as an EPS file, you do not then place this EPS file in another Illustrator file. You would save the nested files as an EPS file, and then place the new EPS file in a program like Adobe InDesign. (InDesign is the standard in the print industry for layout of artwork.) If you do not do this, EBA could have potential problems outputting the artwork file as you expect it to look. For example: (1) the text you included in the nested file may change to a default typeface like Courier; (2) there may be problems with gradients and paths; or (3) the file may not print correctly at all.

You do not want to use Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop as a page layout program. All layout of artwork should be done in a program like InDesign. As an added benefit, this approach yields a smaller file(s), which then can be sent easier. The artwork can then be processed quickly by EBA.

Another approach to avoid costly delays with your project is to have EBA review your artwork prior to designing the whole piece. We offer 15 minutes of review time by one of our designers at no charge for all customers.

Great customer service, friendly, easy to work with. The quality of the work is excellent. I recommend EBA Printing all the time.
